Andrew holds a Bachelor of Development Studies Degree and currently a candidate for Master of Public Health. He has good knowledge and experience in programs and project design and management. He has 8 years of work experience within the private health sector with considerable involvement in program coordination, partner networking and research.

In capacity of Private Sector Engagement Officer, Andrew is supporting the USAID Maternal Newborn Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN) Activity to establish functional linkages and mechanisms through which program activities are being implemented in private health facilities to improve MCH and Nutrition services.

Andrew has worked as a Quality Control Supervisor with We Care Solar Inc. under the ‘Light Every Birth Initiative’ and was once the local Program Coordinator for a DFID Funded Global Midwifery Twinning Project (GMTP) at Uganda Private Midwives Association.

Andrew also worked with the Uganda Red Cross Society as Focal Person in Mukono Branch and as Research Officer on the mHealth Study project under Makerere University School of Public Health – Center for Tobacco Control in Africa. Andrew owes his instrumental ability to facilitate program implementation from these past engagements.
