Reported illnesses range from mild symptoms to severe illness and sometimes death for confirmed COVID-19 cases.These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure:
- Fever
- Running Nose (flu)
- Cough
- General Weakness
- Difficulty in breathing if the patient develops pneumonia
Following the outbreak and the wide spread of Corona Virus Globally, and with the reported cases of the Covid-19 in Uganda, The Government of Uganda has instituted a series of responses to curb the spread of the virus.
You are required to be vigilant by looking out for the signs and symptoms of Covid-19 as indicated by the Ministry of Health.
If you genuinely suspect that you may have contracted Covid-19, or any person near you, please call the Emergency Number given below.
Desist from self-medication when you have any health challenges. Always seek treatment from registered health facilities. If you suspect you have contracted Covid-19, self-quarantine yourself and follow the instructions given by the Ministry of Health. This is the only way you can protect yourself and loved ones.
