Private Health Sector Convention- 13th November 2019

The Uganda Healthcare Federation (UHF) in partnership with the Ministry of Health hosted this year’s private health sector convention with support from the IFC World Bank on 13th November 2019 at Golf Course Hotel, Kampala.

This partnership underscored the valuable support the private sector has from the Ministry of Health, to ensure that through dialogue we thrive and have a conducive environment to collaborate to deliver health services and products.

This convention was a platform to explore the opportunities that private sector can build on to support the efforts of the Government of Uganda and health development partners as together we chart our journey to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC). While Uganda is in the final stages of developing a UHC roadmap the private sector has been an active participant in the process, and we will use this platform to monitor and evaluate the envisioned successful integration of the private sector agenda with that of the Ministry of Health.
