Self-regulatory Quality Improvement System Plus

Uganda Healthcare Federation with support from Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) in partnership with Mastercard Foundation aims to implement immediate relief, recovery and resilience interventions under the COVID-19 PSFU Response Project in strengthening, organizing and mobilizing the private sector to provide Ugandans with the option of obtaining high-quality health services from private health providers (PHP).

UHF is supporting the SCAPP department at MOH, alongside the regulatory councils and key private sector stakeholders to digitize a single tool (SQIS+) developed from the harmonized existing toolkits and quality initiatives to support quality improvement in private facilities from the small nursing homes to the hospital size facilities in both rural and urban settings. WHO IS THE TARGET?

All non-state health facilities (PFP and PNFP) that include; Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Centers, Health Centers, Domiciliaries and Stand-alone units, i.e. Laboratories, Dental clinics, Ophthalmology, Radiology and Pharmacy units. HOW TO DO AN ASSESSMENT USING SQIS+
