Practical, costed solutions for solid waste management, built on UHF’s research on food loss and wastage in Kampala markets.
- The pilot
Building on UHF’s research on food loss and wastage in Kampala markets, carried out as part of the African Cities Research Consortium with the Centre for Health Social and Economic Improvement (CHASE-i), UHF is part of the consortium team now piloting solutions for solid waste management. The pilot maps stakeholders, brings together government, private sector and technical partners through co-creation, and develops practical, costed solutions that can be taken forward.
